發芽率 = 發芽總數 ÷ 供試種子數 × 100%；發芽勢 = 前 n 天發芽數 ÷ 供試種子數 × 100%；發芽指數 GI = Σ(每日發芽數 ÷ 對應天數)；活力指數 VI = GI × 幼苗平均長度
發芽率反映最終出苗能力；發芽勢取前 n 天（通常 3~4 天）累積發芽佔比，反映發芽整齊度與速度；發芽指數 GI 對逐日發芽數按天數倒數加權（發芽越早權重越大）；活力指數 VI = GI × 苗長，綜合速度與長勢。發芽率 ≥90% 優質、≥80% 合格、≥70% 勉強可用、否則不合格。
